Get Acquainted Hawaiian Luau Party at the Clarion Hotel
Includes the dinner, chef, bartender and bar set up fees, and the entertainment.                  (Cash Bar)

"Pig Pickin" Luau at outside pool. A traditional Hawaiian Luau with Hula Dancers and Hawaiian Music.
Whole Roasted Suckling Pig accompanied with salads, cornbread, hush puppies, rice and corn on the cob.
Followed by fresh baked peach cobbler and coffee or tea.

Dress is casual and colorful.

10:15 AM 5:15 PM - HISTORIC CHARLESTON AND THE CITADEL
Tour Charleston's beautiful old historic district with a stop at one of our historic churches and a brief stroll down some of our quaint lanes and alleys. View the lovely homes along the Battery, 18th century Rainbow Row, magnificent public buildings and churches, and many other points of interest including the College of Charleston and Mazych-Wraggborough and Harleston Village, early suburbs of Charleston. Complete your afternoon with the impressive dress parade at the Citadel and a tour of this unique campus.

6:00 PM - 8:30 PM - CHARLESTON CRAB HOUSE
Enjoy dinner at the Original Charleston Crab House, a locally owned restaurant that has been serving fresh southern seafood for over ten years. Enjoy the crab cakes, boiled shrimp or mahi mahi in a true low country atmosphere right on the intracoatal waterway.

9:00 AM - 2:00 PM - PATRIOTS POINT TOUR
Tour Patriots Point, the world's largest naval and maritime museum. Visit the Aircraft Carrier YORKTOWN, the famous fighting lady of World War II; the USS LAFFEY DD-724 "The Ship That Would Not Die"., a participant in the World War II D-Day landings at Normandy; the submarine CLAMAGORE SS-343, one of the Navy's last diesel powered submarines; and the Coast Guard Cutter, INGHAM WHEC-35, which was in active service until decommissioned and given to Patriots Point in 1989.

Pay tribute to our Shipmates 'gone but not forgotten' with a Memorial Service on the hangar bay of the Aircraft Carrier YORKTOWN and a color guard from the Citadel. A wreath will cast into the water after the Citadel's Bugler, plays TAPS.

Enjoy a delicious lunch in the CPO Mess aboard the Yorktown.

6:15 PM - 10:30 PM - SPIRIT OF CAROLINA DINNER CRUISE
Cruise Charleston's beautiful harbor by moon light aboard the 100' luxury yacht, Spirit of Carolina. Enjoy the unique and beautiful sights of our harbor at night as well as a delicious dinner in a romantic atmosphere. Dance to the music of a live band. Entree choice may be made at the table Alcoholic beverages and optional dessert menus are on your own. Includes round trip transfers to Patriots Point.

9:00 AM - 1:00 PM - FORT MOULTRIE AND BOONE HALL PLANTATION
Begin your visit to Fort Moultrie by viewing the film that depicts the history of the fort. After the film a guide will give you a brief orientation to the fort, which began its life as a simple fort built of Palmetto logs, and sand from which Revolutionary soldiers under the leadership of Col. William Moultrie repulsed a British fleet on June 28, 1776. The fort remained active until 1947 and is one of the more interesting forts on the eastern seaboard. Continue on to Boone Hall Plantation, which was used in the filming of the television miniseries, "North and South", "Queen", and for background filming in "Gone With the Wind". Tour the lovely Georgian Plantation House, the slave quarters built from brick made on the plantation in the 1800's and watch the flower ladies making their sweetgrass baskets.
